The Fly in / (mini) X Dales 2025 with take place over the 5th - 7th September.

The main 'full' version of the X Dales was cancelled for reasons explained below. However, many things are planned for the Fly in, including a slimmed down version of the X Dales.

Due to the low number of entries we have sadly had to cancel this years main X Dales.  This is mainly self inflicted due to our own poor promotion. However, the Fly in still goes ahead and we expect, weather permitting, one or several  options below to go ahead including the option of a mini X Dales.

The shortened hike & fly challenge will be approx 20k in length and offers lots of flying opportunities regardless of wind direction (weather permitting)  The usual X Dales trophies and other prizes will be awarded.  The  Risk Assessment statement will be signed on the day.  No need to register, we'll also do that on the day.  BHPA membership and P rating apply and evidence needed. Please note the BHPA membership app is currently discontinued, only the card can be used.

Details of the route, scoring, entry etc are explained below.
